​1. General

1.1 Zurück zu Tier undertakes to treat all information received in connection with the order confidentially and to carry out the assigned tasks to the best of its knowledge, belief, and with due care.

1.2 In the event of a threat to the property or health of animals, Zurück zu Tier will inform the customer first, if possible, or otherwise the emergency contact designated by the customer. In urgent cases (e.g., storm damage, fire, water damage, burglary), Zurück zu Tier is entitled to contact the fire department, police, or emergency services independently; the costs are borne by the customer.

1.3 The customer shall provide all necessary resources (including instructions for use) in perfect condition. Consumables such as pet food, cleaning supplies, etc. must be available in sufficient quantities. Any additional costs incurred for replenishment are borne by the customer.

1.4 Changes or additions must be agreed upon in writing (e.g., by email or message).

2. Animals

2.1 Zurück zu Tier cares for animals in a species-appropriate manner, in compliance with the Animal Welfare Act and animal welfare standards.

2.2 The customer informs Zurück zu Tier about any health issues or behavioral abnormalities of the animals (e.g., aggression, biting incidents, illnesses, escape behavior).

2.3 The customer confirms that they have valid liability insurance for pet owners.

2.4 Zurück zu Tier is not liable for damage caused by animals. Zurück zu Tier is only liable for intentional or grossly negligent behavior that was not caused by insufficient information from the customer.

2.5 In the event of illness, Zurück zu Tier will act according to veterinary advice if the customer or the emergency person cannot be reached. The costs for veterinary care, treatment, and transport will be borne by the customer and invoiced to them.

2.6 No liability is assumed for injuries, illness, or death of an animal through no fault of Zurück zu Tier. Even with careful care, an animal can escape; There is no right to compensation.

2.7 Medications will only be administered following written instructions from the owner or veterinarian. Zurück zu Tier assumes no liability for adverse effects if instructions have been followed correctly.

3. Apartment/House

3.1 The customer ensures that Zurück zu Tier has access to all premises necessary to complete the order.

3.2 Zurück zu Tier is only liable for damage to the apartment, inventory, or special use rights (e.g., garden, basement) in the event of intent or gross negligence.

3.3 No liability is assumed for damage to floors caused by food or water containers, plants, or other materials.

3.4 Zurück zu Tier assumes no liability for false alarms from alarm systems or similar technical systems.

3.5 The customer is responsible for securing doors, windows, and keys. Loss of keys or unauthorized access by third parties is not the responsibility of Zurück zu Tier.

4. Plants

4.1 Plant care is carried out according to the customer's instructions and to the best of our ability. Liability for damage to plants or soil is expressly excluded.

4.2 Care products are provided by the customer. Any damage resulting from incorrect information or a lack of provision is the sole responsibility of the customer.

5. Prices and Payment Terms

5.1 Surcharges do not apply on Sundays or public holidays

5.2 Early return or late pickup cannot lead to price reductions

5.3 Additional costs for longer care or alternative care are borne by the customer

5.4 Introductory appointments without a subsequent order:

Up to 5 km from Ottenbach: free of charge

From 5 km: CHF 1 per km (one way)

5.5 Payment methods: cash, bank transfer, or Twint. Reminder fee: CHF 10; late payment interest or collection costs are borne by the customer.

6. Cancellations

6.1 Up to 7 days before the start of care: free of charge
6.2 Less than 7 days: 50% of the order value
6.3 Less than 24 hours: 100% of the order value

7. Data Protection & Confidentiality

7.1 Zurück zu Tier treats all customer and animal data as strictly confidential.

7.2 Unless expressly prohibited, images and videos of the animals may be used for advertising purposes on the website and social media without mentioning the customer's name.

8. Unforeseeable Events

Zurück zu Tier is not liable for damages or delays caused by force majeure, extreme weather conditions, traffic accidents, strikes, natural disasters, or other unforeseeable events.

9. Final Provisions

Place of jurisdiction: Zurück zu Tier's registered office

Applicable law: Swiss law

Severability Clause: Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect

Zurück zu Tier always acts for the welfare of animals.
